In an attempt to counteract the Arctic chill that has descended upon Maryland, I made Ham Bean Soup this weekend. Most people would simply report that and move on. I, however, have turned it into an ENTIRE BLOG POST - complete with photos and commentary – over at My Grandma’s Recipes.
I have to report, dear readers, that I’m a wee bit obsessed with my new recipe blog. I have so much that I want to do with it, and I find myself thinking more in terms of what could post over there versus what could post here on SINAFF. I hope you’ll forgive me and hang around until I post something other than a cross-reference to my other blog here. I’m not giving up on this one – I’m just slowing down for a bit.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I seriously have some Sand Tart dough on my countertop that I need to roll and bake, and it’s after 9:30 pm! I promised 3-4 dozen cookies to the middle school PTA, for some Staff Appreciation project (we heart U!) involving literaly hundreds of dozens of cookies and the entire school staff filling boxes of volunteer-baked cookies for themselves. Never a dull moment.
