Birthday bikes

My birthday buddy Jim showed up first thing this morning, bringing pink flowers and a birthday card. I knew he’d make an appearance today; it was just a matter of when.

Last year, Birthday Buddy Jim took me for a ride on his Harley – my first-ever motorcycle ride.  This year, our birthday is decidedly more low-key. Here – read about last year’s ride. It was unforgetable!

The Boss has a birthday on Tuesday and I’m off to the Verizon Wireless store to buy him his first cell phone. I told him if he gets it today, he has nothing to unwrap on Tuesday; he said he totally doesn’t care as long as he has his phone.

They grow up so fast.

**sigh**

  1. I would sing but trust me you dont want me to …. I send, however, songs of joy which I hope you will sing this day, this year and many many more to come … If I had known your bday was so close to the time we spent together I still wouldnt have sung but I would have made sure everyone else did … Happy Birthday, dear Meg!

  2. Happy belated birthday! Sorry I missed wishing you a terrific day. What else is new! I remember celebrating it a month early, a month late and anywhere in between when you were young.

See you next Sat. Have a fun week.
