My birthday buddy Jim showed up first thing this morning, bringing pink flowers and a birthday card. I knew he’d make an appearance today; it was just a matter of when.
Last year, Birthday Buddy Jim took me for a ride on his Harley – my first-ever motorcycle ride. This year, our birthday is decidedly more low-key. Here – read about last year’s ride. It was unforgetable!
The Boss has a birthday on Tuesday and I’m off to the Verizon Wireless store to buy him his first cell phone. I told him if he gets it today, he has nothing to unwrap on Tuesday; he said he totally doesn’t care as long as he has his phone.
They grow up so fast.
